WONKANG Metal Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) is committed to actively protecting members’ privacy and personal information to guarantee freedom of communication in the information society. To this end, the Company establishes and implements the following Privacy Policy.

During service use and processing, data such as service usage records, access logs, cookies, IP addresses, and payment records may also be collected. For specific services requiring additional information, the Company may request further data, but it will not be used for purposes other than those disclosed in advance.

2. Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information

The Company collects personal information to provide quality services and to offer customized services tailored to each member’s preferences and needs.

With members’ consent, the Company may deliver advertising information and may send selected advertisements deemed valuable based on individual data. Even when placing ads for specific groups defined by gender, age, or other criteria, personal information is not provided to advertisers.

3. Sharing and Provision of Personal Information

As a rule, the Company does not provide members’ personal information to external parties. Exceptions apply only when:
- The member has consented to disclosure or provision,
- Legal action is required due to a violation of the Terms of Use or harm to others,
- A request is made by a government agency through proper legal procedures.

4. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing

For better service, the Company may entrust personal information to the following entities and specifies obligations in contracts to prevent misuse:

5. Access, Modification, and Deletion of Personal Information

Members can access or modify their personal information at any time and may request deletion by canceling their membership through the “Personal Information Management” page on the website.

6. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

Personal information is retained and used while the Company provides services. Once the purpose of collection is achieved, information is destroyed without delay. However, certain data is retained for the following reasons:

- Consumer complaints/dispute records: 3 years
- Access logs: 3 months (Communications Privacy Act)

7. Destruction of Personal Information

After the retention period, personal information is destroyed. Paper records are shredded or incinerated, and electronic files are deleted using technical methods to prevent recovery.

8. Use of Cookies

The Company uses cookies to provide customized services. Cookies are small text files stored on users’ hard drives to identify computers (not individuals).

Purpose of Use: Analyze access frequency, identify preferences, and provide targeted marketing.

Cookie Rejection: Members can refuse cookies by adjusting browser settings (e.g., Internet Explorer → Tools → Internet Options → Privacy). Note: Some services requiring login may be unavailable if cookies are refused.

The Company limits access to personal data to authorized staff, provides regular training, and verifies member identity when handling sensitive information. Members are responsible for safeguarding their IDs and passwords and should frequently update them using complex combinations of letters and numbers.
